Christopher Brown, owner
Hillsdale Landscaping, LLC.
I grew up in Dumont, NJ, and moved to Hillsdale, NJ, I came from a family where getting muddy and being outside was not only normal, it was encouraged. I grew up playing in the dirt. I was always intrigued by nature; the plants, smells, and sounds were captivating. Most mornings you could find me snacking on the mulberry tree we had in our yard.
As I got older when most kids were wanting a gaming system I found myself fixated on bulldozers and I knew I would not be satisfied until I sat in one. Fast forward a decade or so, I own a few.
Something as simple as wanting a bulldozer tends to be the foundation of who I am; once I have an interest I give it my all until its a reality. You see it in my life, and you most certainly see it in my work.
I started working in the landscaping business around the age of 10 by helping my father mow the lawn and trim the hedges. I loved being around my dad, but as I got older the satisfaction I got from being outside grounded me. Little did I know my hobby that was so rewarding to me would become my business.
I have owned and operated Hillsdale Landscaping for 30 years. Nothing gives me greater pride than having clients that started with me 30 years ago. We work closely with our clients needs and budget to provide a finished product that's in both parties best interest. We wont take on a job if we're not confident you'll be 100% satisfied.
We truly look forward to hearing from and working with you.
